Our client are looking for a talented and hard working senior programmer to become part of and to help manage an engineering team working onworld leading software titles.

The lead role will require the leading of the engineering team and working with production and the other disciplines to achieve the products vision. It will also require hands on implementation of code on the title.

Main function:

•  Making a key contribution to:

•  Technical design

•  Module implementation

•  Estimation and planning

•  Mentoring and managing individuals or a team

Working with the other discipline leads and production team to deliver a successful product

Essential Skills

•  Strong C++

•  Object-oriented design

•  Good communicator

•  Team player

•  Man management

Desirable Skills:

•  Flexibility (programming teams are generally small so the candidates will likely be askedto work on a variety of different areas during a typical project)

•  Extended experience in one or more areas, in particular:

o  AI / Game-play

o  Networking

o  User interface

Person specification:

The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills withexperience in managing engineering teams.

University degree or similar qualification.
