Experienced and creative Server Programmer required to work with custom websites and MMO applications for award winning racing game developer (North East UK).  

Essential skills:

 Excellent knowledge of Python

 Experience in building scalable systems

 Able to use own initiative, work methodically and meet deadlines

 Agile development

Preferred skills:

 Event-driven and asynchronous programming- frameworks such as Twisted, Tornado, and Gevent

 Multi-threaded web frameworks e.g.CherryPy

 MongoDB / other NoSQL

 JavaScript - including frameworks such as Ember

 Server development experience on Linux, FreeBSD, or other Unix-like systems

 Couchbase, Memcached or Redis

 MySQL / other SQL

 Haproxy /nginx

 C++ programming experience

 Development experience with messaging systems such as ZeroMQ
