Skills Required:
- Affinity for video games
- Professional standard of written and spoken English
- Willingness to take on higher responsibilities and progress
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Clear understanding of web technology, e.g. security, network connections, load balancing etc.
- Working knowledge of design patterns and software architecture
- Working knowledge of client technology; C++, JavaScript, ActionScript3, HTML(5), Flash
- Excellent working knowledge of server technology; C++, MySQL, php, Apache, Linus
- Able to identify risks, priorities and dependencies in a project
- Extensive technical knowledge - hardware & other programming languages
- C#, Java or other programming languages an advantage
- To have worked with database management systems
- To have developed C++ based server applications
- Tools development (build systems, editors, deployment etc.)
- Gameplay and server programming
- Implement major features in current online game projects
- Work on code architecture, task estimations and risk management
- Assist junior programmers (project dependent)
