Skills Required:  

• Professionally Proficient English (written and spoken)
• Affinity for Video Games
• Good communicator and proactive problem solver
• Experience of leading a programming team
• Ability to oversee projects as well as identify risk, dependencies and priorities
• Knowledge of design patterns & software architecture
• Strong C++ programming skills (experience with C# / Java an advantage)
• Working knowledge of server technology e.g. Linux, C++, Apache, security, load balancing etc. 
• Working knowledge of client technology e.g. C++, JavaScript, HTML(5), ActionScript3, Flash etc.
• Preferred:  Experience in game play programming, database management systems and tools development  

Duties Include:  

• Guide Junior Programmers (project dependent)
• Link with other departments and projects
• Work with Game Producer on the programming team’s deliverables and schedules
• Give tasks to team members, tracking their completion
• Work on code architecture, risk management and task estimations
• Contribute to continual development of tools and technology
