Top class studio in North UK require a Senior/Lead Tools Developer to develop technology at the core of its AAA games and play a significant role in shaping art, animation and designs across new projects.

Who you are

• Degree in CS, similar or equivalent in work experience


• Expert C++ skills and OO programming


• Strong 3D Maths


• C#/WPF


• Direct X, OpenGL or similar graphics APIs experience


• UI using one or more common UI libraries (Win32 GDI/wxWindows/Qt/ etc)


• Able to liaise well with artists, designers and other non-tech disciplines



• Writing plugins for common 3D and 2D packages ideally Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop


• Understanding of the mathematics used in CG rendering and animation


• The ability to analyse/optimise algorithms for efficiency


• Cross platform-programming experience other than PC
