Our client is an award winning 3D simulations studios based in the North of England. We seek 2 DevOps Engineers, one at Mid level and one at Senior level, to join their expanding and successful cloud team.

Responsibilities:

• · Deployment, configuration and maintenance of multiple Web servers containing numerous game infrastructure services.
  
• · Service availability and performance monitoring.
  
• · Performance improvement.
  
• · Fast and effective diagnostics and resolution of problems arising out of daily web services usage.
  
• · Solving issues effectively with minimal possible downtime.
  
• · Automation of processes and daily routines.
  
• · Interaction with game team on various tasks that lie between game servers and Web.
  

Skills required:

• Managing virtualised cloud infrastructure and platform at experienced level.
  
• Understanding of web technologies such as ServerOS (Linux, Windows Server 2012), Web security
  
• (WAF/Layer7, SSL), Server Coding (PHP, NodeJS,CherryPy), Proxies( Nginx, HAProxy), Cloud Services (AWS, Azure), SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB),Client coding (HTML5, Java script, CSS).
• Excellent general programming skills built through solid commercial experience.
  
• Strong web and cloud development skills.
