Our client is a major independent AAA games studio based in the North of England. We are looking for talented Physics Programmers to join the team.

Responsibilities

• · Writes clean, clear, functional and portable C++code
  
• · Creates, improves and maintains the physics system
  
• · Maintains and enhances the stability, quality and variety of game physics elements
  
• · Can do attitude
  
• · Work on time and on spec
  
• · Provide technical expertise
  
• · Review codes from junior members
  

Requirements

• · 4+ years game industry C++ development experience as Physics programmer
  
• · Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  
• · Expert C++
  
• · Experience in building multithreaded, real-time systems
  
• · Great maths skills
  
• · Profiling and optimizing CPU utilization experience
  
• · Consoles Development experience
  
• · Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
