Social Media Content Strategist - Mobile Games
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, culturally tuned-in Social Media Content Strategist to own Our Client's voice across our key channels. This is not a post-and-pray role — we need someone who lives and breathes gaming culture, understands the nuances of audiences across the US market, and can turn platform insights into content that actually performs. You'll work at the intersection of brand, growth, and community to keep Our Client relevant, loud, and ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and own Our Client's social media content strategyacross Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Build and maintain monthly content calendars that align with game launches, tournaments, seasonal moments, and brand campaigns.
• Create compelling briefs for creative teams and collaborate closely with designers, videographers, and motion artists to produce high-quality content.
• Write sharp, on-brand copy for posts, captions, stories, reels, and short-form video scripts — with a voice that resonates for US audiences
• Identify and ride trending moments in gaming to build reactive and real-time content opportunities.
• Manage and grow Our Client's influencer and creator ecosystem, identifying collaboration opportunities that drive authentic engagement.
• Analyse performance data across all channels (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversion) and turn insights into actionable strategy improvements.
• Partner with the performance marketing team to ensure organic and paid social strategies are aligned and amplifying each other.
• Stay across platform algorithm changes, new formats (e.g.Reels, Shorts, Threads), and competitor activity to keep Our Client's strategy ahead of the game.
What We're Looking For
• 3–6 years of experience in social media strategy, contentmarketing, or a related role — ideally within gaming, entertainment, sports, or tech.
• Demonstrable track record of growing social channels and driving engagement, with a portfolio or examples to show.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific content formats, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent copywriting skills — you can adapt tone and style from hype-driven gaming content to professional brand storytelling.
• Data-driven mindset: comfortable using tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent to track and report on performance.
• A genuine passion for mobile gaming and esports — you know your Battlegrounds from your Battle Royale.
• Happy working hands on as an individual contributor
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentand juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Bonus Points
• Experience working in the US market
• Background in esports, fantasy sports, FTP or real-money gaming platforms.
• Hands-on video editing or content production skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Existing relationships with gaming creators or influencers in the USA
