Our client is an award winning, leading UK gamedeveloper. They are seeking to hire a Game Designer for their studio in theNorth-West of the UK

Requirements:

·  Minimum of 2 years’ game industry designexperience and the proven ability to design engaging gameplay experiences

·  Good understanding of the gamedevelopment process, including technical limitations and opportunities

·  Good working knowledge of the technicalrestrictions and specifications for various game consoles

·  Strong working knowledge of game editorsand scripting tools

·  At least one published game

Responsibilities

·  Iteratively balance and fine-tune gameplayelements

·  Design and implementation of gameplayusing in-house engine tools

·  Implementation and development ofexisting design mechanics and missions/levels

·  Pro-actively identify potential upcomingdesign problems and propose suitable solutions

·  Work to a functional brief, withintechnical constraints
