Our client leads the field in their area. Creating games across platforms as part of a truly global content provider. Due to the number of titles in development they are seeking to hire a Senior UI Artist for their studio in the North, UK.

Responsibilities: 

• Designing, creating and exporting 2D textures/icons using packages provided (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  
• Responsible for creating game UI compliant with the gamedesign, both technically and aesthetically
• Creating, animating and exporting working interface files for use in game
• Where necessary, creating 3D assets using packagesprovided (Maya)
  
• Designing with and exporting fonts for use in game, formultiple languages
  

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, and familiar with timeline based UI software e.g. Aftereffects
• Good demonstration of skills through CV/Showreel/Websiteor Art Tests
  
• Good understanding of in-house tools and software used in development
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Practical andmethodical approach to both technical and creative problem-solving
  
• Excellentartistic ability
