Ourclient is a renowned UK production company specialising in bespoke animation,cinematics, imagery, and fx. They are looking to expand their team immediatelywith an experienced senior CG Generalist specialising in Lighting who also hasexperience in modelling, animation, VFX, compositing and finishing. Work on lighting hard surfaces, particularly automotive/vehicles, is a plus. Thisis a key role for the studio and you will have input to improve teamperformance and actively contribute innovation, ideas, and solutions. Part ofthe role can be fulfilled remotely.

Responsibilities

Supply a range of 3D skills to the production pipeline

Keep yourself and the business on the leadingedge of technology in the current CG environment by proactively seekingknowledge externally, and sharing it with the team

Configure the lighting within your own shotsand also knowledge share/assist on all other shots/scenes within the project tocreate bespoke lighting

Work alone and collaboratively, controllingyour own assignments with multiple tasks and shifting deadline pressure

Assist the project manager in creatingschedules and milestones

Collate necessary information from the projectmanager, and potentially the client, for any briefs

Build rapport and understanding with teammembers and sometimes with clients

Constructively critique and utilise feedback

Mentor junior team members

Requirements

At least 3 years experience within a CG relatedindustry

Confident utilising 3dsMax (if not, then Maya),VRay, Nuke / AfterEffects and Photoshop 

Excellent written and verbal Englishcommunication skills to communicate clearly and effectively on all levels

Must have strong problem-solving skills andattention to detail and quality

Must be a competent finisher

Must like working on configurators

You must supply an animated showreel and giveaccount of your participation within each shot/scene contained
